Taking SCARY out of used bikes, one bike at a time.

Just an example of some of my refurbishing projects.
This cable guide to the rear brake has corrosion under the paint. Yes, alloy can rust but not as bad as steel. When it did rust and poped the paint, and the cable housing was seized in place. I thought I would clean this up.
Once I removed the cable and housing, I had a clear view. I taped it off, used three different sanding pads, and buffed it to a nice shine. I also cleaned up where the housing would make contact.
One down, one to go.
