Taking SCARY out of used bikes, one bike at a time.

This is a serious issue but a quick fix.
In this case, the wheel would not roll smoothly and bind up. First, I thought it was the brakeset but found out it was the hub.
It turns out the hub cap where the fork contacts the hub. This washer-style nut was flipped over. Not sure how this happened because it take a lot of force to remove it. Once flipped over, it rolled smoothly and didn’t seem there was any damage.
Something as simple as this can cause significant damage and shorten the lifespan of parts.
