Description
2024 Trek FX Sport 4 Carbon (Medium) Bike
Trek’s Official Chart: Trek generally recommends the Medium (M) frame size for riders between 5’5″ and 5’9″ (165cm–175cm)
The FX Sport 4 Carbon is a key offering in the flat-bar road/fitness hybrid segment, catering to a growing market of riders who seek performance without the aggressive geometry of traditional drop-bar road bikes.
- Carbon Advantage: Using 400 Series OCLV Carbon is a major differentiator in the hybrid market. It makes the bike significantly lighter than its aluminum counterparts and provides better vibration damping, enhancing comfort over long distances.
- 1x Drivetrain Trend: The 1x (single chainring) drivetrain is a major industry trend, simplifying shifting to a single rear derailleur while still offering a wide gear range (like the 11-48t cassette) suitable for both high-speed flats and steep hills.
- Performance Geometry: The bike’s geometry is more aggressive than a casual commuter but more upright than a race bike. This “all-road” positioning is ideal for serious fitness training, spirited commuting, and endurance riding.

A little about the seller:
I’ve been in the cycling industry for more than 30 years (I know, that makes me old!). I’ve been a professional bicycle mechanic for most of those years, including working locally at Lee’s Cyclery before they became Trek Stores. Now I work from home as a Customer Success Manager for a software team. But I still love fixing up and working on bikes, and riding them too!
Shipping information:
I ship UPS Ground, and the bike is disassembled. I do have a video to help in putting it back together. Usually, it’s the Bars, Front Wheel, Pedals, and Seatpost that need to be reinstalled. I try to keep it simple. It will be packed very well, but if you see any damage to the box or bike, keep the box and packing material, plus take pictures. I ensure that all bikes that are shipped require a signature. In addition, if shipped out of Colorado, there is no Sales Tax.
