Engineered for the elite road race, the Quantum race features a Quantum frame with the upgraded drivetrain and braking components for weight savings and increased performance. The Quantum race is designed for road racing, club rides and century rides.

Frame: Klein full Gradient aluminum provides a lightweight, strong and responsive frame platform. Gary’s unique design makes the Quantum Race frame fit like no other road bike.

Klein’s proprietary process creates smooth, void-free welds that are aesthetically cleaner and significantly stronger. Because welds receive the most stress of any part of a bike frame, strong welds are critical to a frame’s longevity. Because void-free welds don’t include the weakening bumps and pits common to inferior welds, their smooth composition dramatically increases a Klein frame’s life.

My passion for bikes started when my parents opened a shop in the 1980s called Parker Bikes (we were located in Parker, Colorado). My love for cycling has continued since then, in my work and with my hobbies of road cycling and mountain biking. After my parents’ shop closed, I worked for other bike shops (including Lee’s Cyclery in Fort Collins), where I built and sold bikes, fixed and tuned up bikes, and managed inventory.
I love working on bikes and want to share my passion for cycling with others. So, next time you’re talking cycling with someone and wondering how to get started or where to go from here, you can think, “I know a guy!”
